There are times in our life that good intentions can lead to bad consequences. When we are trying to do good we find that sometimes doing good can cause us to get into trouble.
Have you ever wondered why you’re facing the calamities you have today. I believe the calamity or issues you’re facing exist because of the stand you are choosing to make today. Your stand and how you choose to live your God ordained life will leave people wondering in amazement because they don’t understand your faith.
You’ll find that these same people are dumb founded by your beliefs and your principles. Eventually, they will start to judge you and be critical of you and your faith. In fact they will start to plot against you and try to get you to shut up.
Read-Acts 16:16-26
Paul & Silas were trying to do good by delivering the girl from her circumstances and the issues in her life. People around them did not see it that way so they became critical and judged and punished Paul and Silas for their goodness in delivering the girl from her calamities.
Like Paul & Silas, we too try our best to do good and be responsible. Even though we do good and try to be responsible it seems like issues still come up and get us bent out of shape with the people around us. After a while it feels like you are the one in shackles and your feet are in the stocks. That feeling you’re experiencing is known as the feeling of bondage which are the issues and pressures of your life surrounding you right now.
-Acts 16: 25 About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the other prisoners were listening to them.
Midnight is the season in your life that indicates you had enough of the issues and enough of the pressures of life. It’s time for change. Something has to happen. I’m doing my best to get it together and do right. But it seems like I’m getting no where. Are you following what I’m saying?
It’s time you take the pressure and issues of life and turn them around and do like Paul and Silas did, pray and praise Him.
-Acts 16:26 Suddenly there was such a violent earthquake that the foundations of the prison were shaken. At once all the prison doors flew open, and everybody's chains came loose.
Your prayer and praising will get the attention of the almighty God and he will shake loose everything in your prison, everything in your situations today. Let me tell you things are turning around for you. Chains are breaking loose in your life. What was once bound in your life is now loosed.

Opposition
You have been going thru what seems like a stormy season. Things are going good one day and bad the next day. Now, it seems like things are not working out for you, you are the point that you feel like things are messed up in your life today.
Now, you have this heavy heart and you’ve gotten weak in faith and discouraged. You are at the point now that you are not sure what to do.
Now it looks like your plans, your dreams have suffered some damage. You are loosing sight of your victory and the desires you once had. You are facing some opposition (resistance) against what you want, against what you planned and all the you envisioned.
Read -Nehemiah 4:1-20
When God has called you to do a work for him, you’ll find that people around you will not believe in you. They start to speak out against you. Before long unexpected things, situations start to happen, you didn’t see it coming. And now you’re facing some new struggles, some new enemies and new circumstances.
Every time you want to build up, get ahead or do good the enemy seems to come at you even stronger to want to take down everything you are trying to build or do for the Lord.
What you are facing is the spirit of opposition. The opposition is affecting the way you speak, it’s affecting the way you think, it’s affecting the way you stand against temptations. In fact the opposition is affecting your relationships, your finances and every decision you have to make. The opposition is up in your face and causing more hindrances than before.
You don‘t know what to do; you feel confused and all alone. What now lord? What should I do? I’ve loosed sight of my plans, my dreams and all hope of deliverance is gone.
Let me encourage you to stay focus (re-focus), keep praying in and out of season for the desires of your heart (don’t give up) and be on guard. When you’re working for God be ready for battle in/out season. Remember James 4:7 resist the enemy and he will flee
from you.
Enough is enough!!
Stop giving your enemy a foot hold in your marriage, in your finances, in your home you name it. It’s time for you to rise up out of this mess. Remember everything that you are building up: dreams, family, marriage, business, ministry etc… is to Glorify Him.
*Colossians 3:23-24 Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.
Don’t be afraid, fight for your sons, fight for your daughters, fight for your wife, fight for your husband, fight for your homes, fight for your plans, fight for your dreams. You’re not alone. Victory is yours.
*Deuteronomy 20:4 For the LORD your God is the one who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies to give you victory." Hallelujah!!!!
If God be for us then who dare be against us. Remember you are a child of the most high God, a child of the King of kings, lord of lords. Like Nehemiah and the Israelites you need to resist with one hand and build the kingdom with the other hand.
Make your stand today:
1. I’m the head and not the tail.
2. I’m above and not beneath.
3. I’m blessed coming in and blessed coming out.
4. The favor of God surrounds me.
5. The blessings of God are chasing me and overtaking me.
6. Whatever I set my hand to shall prosper.
7. I will live and not die.
8. I will declare the good works of God in my life.
9. No plan, no weapon or opposition formed against me shall prosper.
Praise him!!!!! Praise him!!!!! Praise him!!!!!
