The “Empowering the Home Owner” project is a vision at The Lords Field Ministry & Social Services to fulfill a need in our community’s young adults. There is evidence of a vast lack of knowledge and understanding on the part of the person and young adult’s education on “How?” young adults can obtain the counselling and training they need to successfully pursue the desires of their heart to home ownership. The goal for this project is to teach the importance of good leadership traits, decision making, managing property, maintenance basics and financing options.
The purpose and focus of The “Empowering the Home Owner” is to build a program in the community that will educate the young adults on the importance of developing a personal plan, accessing resources and making contacts and help them understand the positive effect their decision will have on there immediate family and there future and the community around them.
This project is an educational, training and mentor ship based program which (1) teaches how to manage the property (2) owning a home (3) the program teaches and encourages the importance of maintaining the home (4) the program will educate the Young adult on good housekeeping (5) help the Young Adult understand financing is an integral part to getting their home started and growing. (6) Help them attain the home
Our partnership with Bneevige Realty Investments, LLC has given us the opportunity to provide housing to our community members. Their goal is to give every potential individual the encouragement they need to pursue the desires to own a home. They provide affordable, safe housing to meet the needs of people in the low- to middle-income brackets. They will provide real estate solutions for those who want to buy, those who need to sell, and those who want to rent. They will aid in energizing the local real estate market by helping link unused and underutilized properties with real estate professionals that can bring that property to its highest, best use. In doing so, we will have affordable housing available to empowering the home owner members . We will also create jobs and provide financially for our family and other family’s future.
Our plan is to help them attain the capability to own real estate and to assist them in their home ownership dreams even if they are not able to qualify due to lack of credit and economic circumstances. Bneevige Realty Investments LLC will also provide land contracts to persons that may not meet all requirements necessary to obtain favorable loans from financial institutions.
